RooOur Official Greeter
Roo is our three-legged clinic kitty who has been with us since 2008. She was brought into our clinic as a small kitten with fishing wire wrapped around her now-missing leg and neck. Fortunately Dr Hoffman was able to save her and amputate her leg. Ever since she has lived a happy life at our clinic. You can typically find her sleeping in her shark bed on the front desk counter. However, she also enjoys sleeping in empty boxes and begging for someone to turn on the water from the faucet.
KellyHospital ManagerIt is great to have Kelly back at CVC! She missed the clients, pets and veterinary medicine in general. Her passion for animals brought her to CVC back in 1997 when she started working here as a receptionist. Kelly is very organized and has excellent people skills, which keeps the clinic and staff running smoothly. She feels blessed to be back at CVC working with such a great staff. In her spare time she loves, gardening, reading, and going camping with her family. You might see her walking her shih-tzu, Bella and Schnoodle mix, Oscar and we can’t leave out “Sharpie” our cool black cat.
DeniseLicensed Veterinary Technician
Denise has been with us since 2008. She started out as a receptionist and has worked her way into every aspect of the clinic. Denise has a true passion for animals and enjoys learning all she can about the veterinary field. She worked and studied hard while she has been with us and earned her Veterinary Technicians license in May of 2015. She has a love for the Labrador Retriever and enjoys showing and hunting with her four, Hank, Tawny, Tessa and Stella. She has a small herd of Dairy goats that she enjoys showing as well. She can be seen with them at our local and state fairs. Denise loves the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Heather has been with us since October of 2010. She brings her southern hospitality from her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina to the northwest. She and her husband Chris, have four adult children, Katie, Kelly, Hailey, and Michael & one granddaughter, Sophia. In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, reading, photography, exploring the Northwest, and spending time with family and friends.
Meagan's love for animals began her journey with us in March of 2018. Her positive attitude and contagious laugh brings a fun and unique aspect to our clinic that we love. Meagan rescued an English Pointer named Rex with her Fiance, Austin in January of 2018. You can typically find them enjoying their season tickets to the Everett Silvertips, at the evergreen speedway, or working on their cars.
Naomi, a soon to be a graduate of Central Washington University, started working here the summer of 2016. While her schooling is incredibly important to her, her love for animals is just as important. She has worked in the animal field for the past six years and is thrilled to expand her knowledge of animals here at Cascade Veterinary Center. She currently has two Chihuahua mixes named Missy and Randy, a terrier mix named Dory, and a cat named Polly. Although she only has four fur babies at this time, she intends to have a farm filled with animals one day. For now she is able to satisfy her need for more animals by loving on all the patients that come into the clinic.
